W. D. GANN'S SILVER SPRINGS METALS TRADING
W. D. Gann's 'Silver Springs' metals trading methodology is 100% decoded from the chapter on Silver Springs in Gann's novel, “The Tunnel Thru The Air.” Of course, decoding, applying, and testing it has taken the better part of the last 5 years. As you see, it was well worth the journey!
Silver Springs is a real place in Florida Gann writes about, but the ‘silver spring’ Gann is really talking about is a metals trading cycle (turn a spring on its side and it looks like a cycle). Get it?
Click to expand the graph below for back-testing on the lead contract of silver futures from 2019 through 2022 consecutive signals. Only 3 losses out of 38 trades! Trades can last 1 week or 1 month. We hope to add a runner strategy soon based on Gann's pyramiding technique.
The trades are triggered in the direction of the cycle and trend using concepts from Gann’s ‘mechanical method’ and the moon for timing and trigger. Contemporary money management principles provide the targeting and stops.
Silver, not gold, was traded at the time Gann wrote “The Tunnel Thru The Air.” But Gann tells us in this section we can individualize this method to gold as well. Trades can be executed on silver or gold futures or ETFs. This method works on a daily time frame with longer trades. ""W. D. GANN: MAGIC IN THE MARKETS" Training.
See above for results testing the lead contract for gold futures for the last 4 years. 4 variations of the results are displayed- including different risk/reward profiles and with and without Gann's 'Arcana' trend prediction.
Below is an examples of a couple entries on silver futures.
This strategy is completely objective, and is taught in it's entirety in our "W. D. GANN: MAGIC IN THE MARKETS" Training.

Gann; and not necessarily the exact trading methods of course presenter or any other individual or entity. You may not be able to duplicate the results of W. D. Gann for many reasons, including, but not limited to, skill of the individual and the changes in financial markets since Gann wrote about them. Recipients of this course receive hypothetical, back–tested data and not actual trading results. Technical analysis, indicators, strategies, and market techniques, including any descriptions or evaluations of their performance, included in this course and displayed on this website, are described and evaluated based on hypothetical back-testing, and not the actual trades or earnings of any individual or entity. “Magic In The Markets” teaches the individual technical analysis, market methods, strategies, and indicators we believe W. D. Gann used in financial markets, occasionally demonstrated by showing different ways Gann combined them to work together. Neither These combinations, nor anything displayed on this website or offered in any course on this website constitute a “futures trading system” or a “stock trading system.” Nothing shown or described on this website should be taken as any individual or entity claiming, inferring, or insinuating, investment advice in any way.
