TRADING W. D. GANN'S ANNUAL CYCLE
Swing traders we talk to are getting knocked out of the market with the wild, news-triggered whipsaws. These wild gyrations make it difficult to employ any money management schema on longer term time frames without getting blown out of good trades.
By combining Gann's annual cycle, trend zones, and the hourly chart we can take advantage of the 24-hour market to make sure we get in and out early- before the whipsaw.
Click to expand the above graph for consecutive results from the last nine months. Over 3,400 points (on one contract) net in the last 9 months, tested on the lead contract of the SP 500 futures. Decoding, combining, and testing these methods is the product of over 10 years of research on our part. It is taught in it’s entirety in our ""W. D. GANN: MAGIC IN THE MARKETS" Training.
This Gann-based swing trading method brings the magic of W. D. Gann to the modern 24-hour market, and more closely resembles what today’s trader would think of as swing trading. When W. D. Gann coined the term, he was thinking in terms of his mechanical method on conventional trading sessions only.
See below for sample entries on a recent 60-minute chart of the SP 500 futures.
Trades result in durations of a few hours to a few days. These are single trades in our first test. Soon, we hope to add a runner strategy based on Gann's pyramiding techniques.
This strategy is completely objective, and is taught in it's entirety in our "W. D. GANN: MAGIC IN THE MARKETS" Training.
