The Lunar Trading Cycles of W. D. Gann

See the galleries below for examples of W. D. Gann’s lunar monthly cycles. These are “Cycles of Progression,” as opposed to “Cycles of Repetition.” Each cycle is fresh and unique when it occurs, and is mathematically generated in advance of market data from a fixed point before market data prints. There are no ‘inversions” in these cycles, only failures of market legs (coded in yellow below.) This technique is taught in its entirety in our “W. D. Gann: Master The Markets” Training.

Direction and duration of cycle legs are tested for performance on a buy-and-hold basis per cycle leg. The simple test checks for whether or not the cycle leg finished predicted direction. On this basis, cycle legs finish 84%- 95% in their predicted direction. If a cycle leg fails to close in the predicted direction, the up/down sequence remains the same, and the next leg’s direction and duration can still be predicted.
