These are “Cycles of Progression,” as opposed to ‘Cycles of Repetition.’ Each cycle is fresh and unique when it occurs, and is mathematically generated in advance of market data from a pre-defined point. There are no ‘inversions” in these cycles, only failures of market legs (coded in yellow below.) This technique is included in our “W. D. Gann: Master The Markets” Training.
Direction an duration of cycle legs are simply tested according to whether or not they finished the leg in their predicted direction. On this basis, cycle legs finish 84- 95% in their predicted direction. If a cycle leg fails to close in the predicted direction, the up/down sequence is unaffected, and the next leg’s direction and duration can still be predicted.
Gann used these cycles in combination with intraday or weekly Arcana trend predictions for maximum surety.
